It’s called “dynamic equivalency” where a word in one language can’t be directly translated into another so the closest word that fits is used. It depends on the translators of a particular version; the first common Bible to the people was the KJV - they used fear because of the monarchy of the time but also could have used respect; at the time it pretty much meant the same thing but today it’s a bit different.
You miss the point don’t you. Read the Bible on your own. Gods Spirit will speak to you. Don’t let others tell you what the Bible says.
THE FEAR OF THE LORD IS THE BEGINNING OF WISDOM.
There are many verses in the Bible about the wrath of God. Why are they there? Are you going to ignore them? What are you saved FROM?
Now, has I pointed out to you previously, we do not live in that fear if we are saved, but it is good TO VISIT IT ONCE IN A WHILE.
You cannot understand God’s grace and love until you understand what what we deserve.
