he nation’s Catholic bishops will not vote on whether or not to withhold communion from pro-abortion politicians like Joe Biden.
“We are no longer proposing a national policy” regarding who may present themselves for Communion, Bishop Kevin Rhoades of Indiana’s Fort Wayne-South Bend Diocese told delegates to the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops meeting late today. He called the idea of whether to deny pro-abortion politicians communion one that “was in the original proposal to the administrative committee, but we never meant it as it’s been interpreted in many media sources.”
The bishops had been slated to examine a propsal to write guidelines about pro-abortion politicians and communion and the idea had received considerable media attention in the days leading up to this first day of the national conference for the bishops. Instead, they will vote on an outline regarding the role of communion in public life.
The Washington Times reports that the bishop said the Vatican had been initiating the idea of talks concerning communion and pro-abortion politicians event though the Vatican had come under fire for repeately warning the bishops about going too far.

Once again, the church preaches morality from the pulpit and refuses to apply it on a daily basis and provide a demonstrable example for the masses... instead, gutlessness and capitulation. A real “profile in courage”...
If you claim to believe something but don’t act on it, you don’t really believe it. These bishops don’t really believe that abortion is the taking of a human life. They should not be bishops in the Catholic Church.
They’re either cowards or they are complicit.

Catholic Bishops:
You are cowards! As a group you do not stand with the Catholic Faith and thus deny God’s Truth.
Only God’s knows your heart and will judge each of you upon your death, and we condemn the sins and the scandal that you expose.
How are you different than the Pharisees that Jesus exposed (Mt23:2 and 6:5 and Luke12:56)?
Each Bishop should speak out and practice what they believe and be willing to be a martyr for the Catholic Faith as expressed in the Catholic Catechism that “the Eucharist is the summit and source of our Christian life” as the Treasure of the Catholic Church – Jesus Christ.
We know you by your fruits. (Matthew 7:15-20)

We need to write to our Bishops that they need to forcefully speak out and condemn the sins and scandal that is happening in the Catholic leadership including the canceling of priests that speak God’s Truth.
There is no room for the money changers that defile God’s Church. (Matthew 21:12)
Maybe this at least permits our faithful bishops to go on doing what they do, without usccb or Vatican interfering?
