May God continue to help these people.
Praise God! The Holy Spirit is shaking and moving and it’s a wonder to see!
A guy I knew in the late 90s in Calgary that I worked with was gay. He had spent a few years in that lifestyle, and then decided it wasn’t for him. He was telling me of the threats and the very hostile way he was treated after that. There were times that they would wait outside for him to jump him, but myself and some others would walk him to his car.
So much for peace and love I guess, it’s only if you do things their way.
As a side note, even though I’m very hostile and negative about homosexuality or trans or whatever else they come up with, it’s ok to hate that, but as Christians we must still show love to the person because they too are made in God’s image and he wants a relationship with them. It’s not up to me to decide who gets to hear the message of Jesus, it’s just my job to tell people and let the Holy Spirit do his work. It’s been my experience that I’m not well received usually because they get offended when I tell them that I hate what they stand for, and they can’t differentiate between that and themselves as separate things.
