I am not a Biblical scholar by any means but, I have read the Holy Bible(the entire Bible, Old, and New Testaments), cover to cover several times.
And, I agree with your logic in this posting. When I first read the Bible I noted too that Christ Jesus did not go to the Jewish Priests for Baptism. He went to John. When he went to the Jewish High Priests it was to admonish them for their self-serving behaviors and actions.
Exactly. Jesus scolded the Religious leaders, as HE would do today when it comes to many who call Him Lord, but preach a different Gospel.
