Is Pope Francis Preparing the Catholic Church to Abandon Unborn Children?

Pope Francis appears to be preparing the Catholic Church to abandon its historic opposition to abortion for the sake of his geopolitical agenda, as recent events indicate.

On May 7, Cardinal Luis Ladaria issued a letter from the Vatican discouraging American bishops from preventing elected officials who support abortion to receive Communion. Ladaria, prefect of the Vatican’s Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, is the highest authority on Catholic theology after the pope.

Ladaria released the letter after several bishops publicly said Joe Biden, who supports abortion, should not receive Communion. San Francisco Archbishop Salvatore Cordileone even wrote a forceful pastoral letter on the subject, without mentioning Biden. But other bishops, such as Cardinal Wilton Gregory of Washington, D.C., said they would welcome Biden at Communion.

A church-going Catholic, Biden was denied Communion by a priest in Charleston, S.C. while campaigning in that state in 2019.

An “Abominable Crime”

The Catholic catechism describes abortion a “moral evil,” calling it and infanticide “abominable crimes,” and demands excommunication for anyone involved in “formal cooperation.” Catholic canon law states that Catholics “persevering in manifest grave sin are not to be admitted to holy communion.” Catholics who “are conscious of grave sin” can’t receive Communion “without previous sacramental confession.”

But Ladaria’s letter not only appears to contradict canon law. It de-emphasizes abortion as a moral benchmark.

Ladaria wrote that any policy the American bishops develop “would best be framed within the broad context of worthiness for the reception of Holy Communion on the part of all the faithful … reflecting their obligation to conform their lives to the entire Gospel of Jesus Christ as they ...

The Pope is seemingly preparing the faithful to walk away from their faith.

We won’t walk away from our faith.....faith is in God. Expire all this in the article and my personal discomfort with this Pope, I do not believe he will abandon the church’s anti abortion stance.

If true, this pope is just asking for a schism. He probably welcomes one so he can rid his church of real Catholics. All that will remain are the woke virtue-signaling CINOS who don’t give a rat’s rear end about faith or morality.

In a very small circle, Pope Francis is said to have self-critically further explained himself as follows: “It is not to be excluded that I will enter history as the one who split the Catholic Church.”

The pope’s strategy seems to be to lower the profile of abortion as a sin, level it down to other sins, like being judgmental of others, not welcoming trannies, being too selfish to support redistribution of wealth, you know, just another sin among many. No reason to get so upset about it.

Remember what Jesus said about people and how they treat the children, and that they would be deserving of a millstone around the neck?

That includes allowing babies to die while being a moral authority and ya don't do anything about it.

If Pope Francis was a man of God, he would seriously look at excommunicating Joe Biden. Biden is like the pied piper who is leading good Catholics down he wrong path. The fifth Commandment says thou shalt not kill. Developing children are already human beings. To kill them is a very serious sin, one that God objects to. To reach inside a woman and tear her child apart is dispicable. It should be stopped. Life begins when the child is in the womb. Life has already begun. Man is not supposed to terminate that life. if he does, he commits murder of a human being.

Men like Jorge Bergoglio sew fear and confusion amongst the Catholic faithful.

He needs our prayers. not defenders of his errors as you do.
