At this time in the Catholic Church, it's common to see a parish described by the sign on the front as a "parish community."

Most of the time, a person can see that sign and know exactly what they will get: improvised liturgies, a multiplicity of boomer extraordinary ministers and a few grey-haired parishioners.
Those things will typically be accompanied by a social justice agenda and emphasizing the seven corporal works of mercy while all but ignoring the spiritual works of mercy. Some may find it strange, however, that many priests in such parishes act like absent, negligent or outright abusive spiritual fathers.
Bishops are included in this too. There's been discussion about the American bishops and how they can't seem to come to a consensus in upholding Church law. It seems the Vatican and most of the American bishops hate Catholic politicians like Joe Biden, who furthers abortion and evil so-called LGBT ideology. The silent bishops seemingly hate Biden so much — shown by their lack of correction — that they will allow him to burn in Hell for eternity, forever cut off from the love of God.
These same bishops constantly harangue the people of God about dialogue. But for many of them, the dialogue only goes one way — the way that coddles their heterodox teachings.
The book Goodbye Good Men details how sodomites infested the seminaries in the 1960s and went on to become the gatekeepers of budding vocations. In many seminaries, good men with devotion to the Rosary and the teachings of the Church were booted out while openly gay men were admitted and then quickly advanced to the priesthood.
These good men were called "rigid" and said to be caught up in "medieval thinking." Some made it through by hiding their Catholicity in order to get ordained. During the day, they would hear heresy in the classroom but at night, they would read St. Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica and whisper to other faithful seminarians what they read.

And then there are celebrity priests like Fr. James Martin, who advocate for sodomy, telling souls who suffer from a same-sex attraction that God made them that way. He even claims that those who chastely bear the cross of same-sex attraction do not live an "integrated life" unless they act out on their desires.
Martin, with the backing of his Jesuit superiors and prominent bishops, has free rein to spread the most pernicious errors.
God's plan is strange, but then again, it's an old problem. Some of the Psalms are lamentations to God about how evil men seem to thrive in this life while those who follow God's laws are oppressed.
But, as Psalm 83 says, "For one day in your courts is better than thousands elsewhere. I have chosen to be lowly in the house of my God, rather than to dwell in the tabernacles of sinners."

With men like this on friendly terms with the pope, holding seminars, writing books, and being lauded by religious and lay Catholics, what can we believe? What Church would allow such open perversion?

and I applaud the ones who do work at carrying it successfully
faith and prayers help, imho, and if a homo guy has occasional relapses he can be forgiven...through honest repentance
the last thing the church needs are “priests” who promote homosexual behavior. this is indeed a false gospel as it goes directly against our Creator’s instructions AND it is 180 degrees wrong conduct for a priest, of all people, to mislead anybody
such “priests” need to reform or get the H out ... find work they can honestly do, there are thousands of occupations they can choose from
