A lot of people do not understand the importance and power of words. But, God puts a high value on words. Words are the key to the salvation of your spirit, soul, and body. So, if you are having a spirit, soul, or body issue the words you hear and speak are going to be the key to your salvation. Notice, in Acts 11:14 it says, "Who shall tell thee words, whereby thou and all thy house shall be saved." And Romans 10:10 says with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Notice, what you hear and speak is key to the salvation of your spirit.
How about your soul/mind, James 1:21 says the engrafted word is able to save your soul. It's the word you take in not the words on the page. You have to take the words off the page and into you. And Proverbs 21:23 says, "Whoso keepeth his mouth and his tongue keepeth his soul from troubles." It's important that you hear and speak the right words. In Job 6:25 it says, "How forcible are right words", so if there's right words then there are wrong words. So, if right words keep your soul from troubles then wrong words will bring troubles. Notice, in Matthew 6:31 it says, "Take no thought, saying What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or,wherewithal shall we be clothed? Take no thought in that verse is talking about worry, notice how it starts by saying.
That's your spirit and soul now how about your body? Notice, Proverbs 4:20-23 20 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. 21 Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. 22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. 23 Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. The word health in that verse means medicine, remedy, healing, cure. Psalm 107:20 says, God sent his word and healed them. What did Jesus use to heal people, words. What did the disciples use to heal people, words (Acts 3:6-16). In Acts 14:7-10 it tells of a man that sat and heard Paul preach that was lame from birth and Paul perceived he had faith to be healed and said to the man, "Stand upright on thy feet" and the man got up and walked. How did that happen, words. Faith comes by hearing words (Romans 10:17). Proverbs 12:18 says, The tongue(words) of the wise is health. So, when your words are in line with God's word they are medicine to all your flesh. God wants you sound and healed spirit, soul, and body. And the words you hear and speak are going to be the key.
