She has the back of Pope Francis.
The good part is — she knows the higher authority ends there, on earth.
As does Francis.
God is looking down on two evil people, to witness how humans exercise their “free will.”
The bad part — I don’t think Nancy cares one hoot — about God, or Francis.

The American Bishops are actually talking about enforcement of morality on Catholics in the public sphere. This is huge!
I doubt the Archbishop went into this without any discussion among the other Bishops in the USCCB. Could this represent a particular change in the culture of the episcopate in the USA?
