The Rosary is not vain repetition. In particular, when one prays the Rosary, they are supposed to be meditating (deep thinking about) a certain set of events from the life of Christ and/or of Mary, depending on the day. (E.g. the annunciation,
the presentation of Christ in the Temple at 8 days old, etc.)

Actually the Presentation was when Jesus was 40 days old—that is why it is celebrated on February 2, 40 days after Christmas.

To me this is an indictment against the faithful by Vatican II. This has been on going since Roncalli stole the Papacy from Cardinal Siri in 1958. It will stop when God wills it so. We must wait.

So you’ve only prayed the Lord’s Prayer once in your lifetime?
I have said it, but I don't pray rote prayers over, and over, and over, and over, like what's done in the rosary. And the only Hail Mary racer I recognize is in a football desperation pass.

Right. And you don’t worship Mary and Saints either.

Have you said it more than once?
If so, you’re a hypocrite.

No, but I strive to follow their example.
Think of how sports fans would honor Tom Brady or Michael Johnson or whoever.
Now apply that to piety.

Pfeh. 404 lack of coffee error.
(Went for my first bike ride of the season in MN today. 24 miles on an empty stomach and 4 1/2 hours sleep. No wonder I’m out of it.)

It would be most unfortunate if such a gathering had a negative effect and in fact made it more difficult for the church to reopen at greater capacity. "This is a nice little business you have here. 'Twould be a shame if something happened to it."

They’re still doing lockdowns in Canada?

Haha...good one! Love liturgical worship. Some just don’t get it.

Excellent comeback:)
That particular poster, for some reason, holds much animosity towards Catholics.

Yes, like the dog in the book and movie, I believe he’s become rabid.

The pledge isn’t a prayer. It’s pretty obvious. Even to a Libtard.
