It say He will return exactly as He left; not some secret taking away. His return is with a lot of trumpets at the end of the Tribulation, going to be noisy not quietly.

There is no mention of any Rapture prior to the late 1700's to early 1800's.

You are behind the news ... more than 35 sources have been found which teach of the Rapture of The Church prior to 1300 AD. You could update your knowledge with a few visits to ‘pretrib.org’.

To whom was it said?... Acts 1:10 And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, 11 who also said, “Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.”

There was not yet any Church. The messengers spoke to men of Galilee, Jews, not members of the Church for the Day of Pentecost birth of the Ecclesia had not yet happened. In The Revelation of John we see the return of Messiah To The Jews, to rescue Israel and establish the Kingdom.

To the Church Jesus promised he was going to prepare a place for His Body of Believers and would return to gather the body of believers to himself and RETURN to the Father's House. With the establishing of the Kingdom, Jesus will be here on the Earth and The Revelation of JOhn shows that The Body of Christ Believers He is bringing with Him to be priests and kings during the 1000 years of the Kingdom on Earth.

Please consider this: after His resurrection, ONLY those given the ability to see Him in His Glorified state were able to see Him. No unbelievers could see Him.

This is illustrated graphically with Saul's conversion of the road to Ammaeus. Paul tells us he saw the risen Lord, but relates to us that the men with him did not see The Lord.

When the Lord comes to gather His Body of Christ Believers, ONLY those He has transformed in the twinkling of an eye will see Him. The natural world will not see Him then as attested to by John in 1John 3:2, where John relates to us that We shall see Him as He IS in His glorified Body, for when He appears in the air to gather us we shall be like Him, inhabiting glorified bodies which are no more visible to the natural world that the being whose hand was seen writing on the wall in Palace Party Central, Babylon.

When Jesus appeared int he Upper Room without going through a window or door, He was 'in the room' before He appeared to the Disciples, but this event, these appearances were all BEFORE the Day of Pentecost birth of the Church, so only those God allowed to see Jesus saw Him.

A careful study of the Greek describing the scene at the tomb indicates that Jesus left the burial wrappings without unwrapping them. Only the head covering was left to one side.

Jesus left the tomb without rolling away the stone. Scripture tells us the angel rolled away the stone to show the women come to anoint the body of Jesus that the tomb was empty.

When Jesus disappeared from the two travels with whom He broke bread, He left this natural four dimensional realm, entering a greater realm of reality. When Jesus returns in the air (not setting foot on the Earth at that time) He will speak into existence -in the greater dimensional realm- new created bodies and behavior mechanisms for those who have died in Christ. [ 1Thessalonians 4:13-17 ]

We who are alive and remain at that day will be transformed in a moment int he twinkling of an eye, to have bodies and behavior mechanisms which are not in this four dimensional realm, but which will allow us to see Him as He is in His Glorified state, for we shall be that glorified state.

Have you perchance read the passages which give all these details? Something WONDERFUL is coming soon to a planet near us! But that wonderful event will be the start of hellish conditions on earth in some countries as Christians are snatched away from the jobs we are tasked, like flying airplanes and driving semi trucks and conduction trains and driving SUVs on highways and byways and ships captaining and surgeries being done and electrical maintenance and ... well, you get the gist. Chaos will be the reality for those not changed and gathered into the clouds to meet the Glorified Christ in the air.
