Enoch was taken out before the flood. A figure of the Departure. Noah was protected from the flood, a figure of the elect protected during the tribulation, to populate the Earth in the coming Kingdom.

Notice too, the Angel told Lot that he, the angel, could not start the fire and brimstone rain until Lot was out of the way. THAT is the stark figure of the Body of Christ must be removed before the restraint is removed and the antichrist spings upon the scene.

It goes without saying sometimes that those who think the Church must ‘suffer’ Divine Wrath, that they fail to realize that Jesus has protected the Church throughout its history.

They make it out that God will declare war on Jesus and His Church without realizing the scenario.

Enoch being taken to heaven had NOTHING to do with the flood or as a figure of the departure. Enoch walked with God, and God took him, simple as that.

Enoch’s son, Methuselah, lived the longest of any recorded person in the bible and died just before the flood (969 years). Enoch would more than likely have been dead before the flood anyway (being 65 years older than Methuselah).
