First, the apostasia, the ‘stand away from’, THEN the harpazo, snatching up to meet the Lord in the air.
As He returns. Acts 1:8-10
Ephesians 2 New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB1995)
1 And you were dead in your trespasses and sins,
2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.
Maybe us meeting the Lord in the air is a proclamation of his victory to the angelic realm, similar to what he said to the spirits now in prison in Hades.
1 Peter 3:18-20 New American Standard Bible 1995 (NASB1995)
18 For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit;
19 in which also He went and made proclamation to the spirits now in prison,
20 who once were disobedient, when the patience of God kept waiting in the days of Noah, during the construction of the ark, in which a few, that is, eight persons, were brought safely through the water.
