Yes heresies have been with the Catholic church from the beginning.

Like Jesus Christ, the Catholic Church does not force anyone to remain in the Church or to believe God’s Truth.

Everyone has the opportunity to follow Satan’s heresies.

May you find God’s Truth in the Catholic Church and not protestant heresy.
