The article seems to be focused only on the UK, though. The Anglican churches in the Commonwealth are probably led and attended mostly by people of color. The exceptions would be those in Canada, New Zealand and Australia.
It doesn’t matter to me. It’s a fashion driven by largely mindless popular opinion; and the pendulum always swings back, often very vigorously.
I’ve been on vacation for a week, and decided not to listen to any ‘news’ for a while. A little respite like that gives one a brand new perspective.
(Let me know when they change the Gospel texts - or forbid the reading of them. Then I might become concerned.)
