Maranatha!
This will provide the numbers to continue to panic the public into accepting the FASCIST social controls, lockdowns, distancing, vaccines, masks, etc.
A friend of our family, a man in his early 70s, died in his sleep after being very upset from watching all the news on covid. He told his wife he was very disturbed by all the bad medical news on TV and was going to take a nap to get away from it all. This was last summer about five months into the covid nonstop coverage. His wife found him unresponsive two hours later. Paramedics said he had a heart track. He did not have covid but the family believes the stress and worry about it contributed to his death. My point is, take a lesson from this story. Trust in the Lord and walk with Him.
Did the author ever read Little House on the Prairie?
There are many people who lived in what we'd call extreme isolation for a lot of our history and it didn't cause them that angst.
And as far as fear of dying, there are a lot of unpleasant ways to go and I am not a fan of any of them.
It's the process of dying that doesn't thrill anyone.
NO FEAR here.
No fear. For the life of me I can’t understand the abject terror people have of of the WuFlu. It’s so extreme they’re happy to sacrifice their freedoms that (used to) come along with being an American.
By about June, I concluded that the line that separated the fearful from the peaceful was their relationship with Christ. It seemed that born-again Christians resented the laws, edicts, and restrictions, while the others cowered at least six feet from others, donned (and probably caressed) their “life-saving” masks, and shivered in fear.
Philippians 4:7: “... And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.”
2 Timothy 1:7: “... For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
In fact, considering the state of the country and the world, the thought of checking out any time suits me just fine.
I’ve stated many times here I work in a hospital ER. I love the job, I really do.
I’ve been exposed to Covid, that I’m aware of at least four times. Had to stay home for a week, been vaccinated, I’ve seen dozens of people die from it, once, in the space of six hours I saw four people expire from it.
It is taking a strain though, I can attest to that. It’s stressful on me, the people I work with and the nursing staff especially the female RNs. A lot of them that I work with are mothers between 30 and 50 years old and they put in 12 hour shifts.
I’ve noticed some are exhausted, a few have even quit the profession. One woman who I had been friends with quit nursing entirely a month ago. She’s only about 38. Last time I spoke with her she said “That’s it. I’m done. I can’t take it anymore’’.
This lockdown bs and mask wearing has to end.
