You poor of spirit thuing, you are unable to see that you are making Salvation conditional. Conditional means it is no longer grace.

Referring back to your post #400, Hebrews 10:26&27 states 'received the KNOWLEDGE'; a Born Again Christian receives The Holy Spirit, not just the head knowledge. But that truth is beyond the cult mind which is impelling you. The knowledge of does not save. The Belief in which makes the truth real in the spirit is how salvation comes. You are a prime example of having a knowledge of yet not trusting in by faith alone in Christ alone. Your seventh day Adventist religion ADDS works to Grace and nullifies The Grace of God in Christ which saves ONLY by faith alone (no works of your fealty behavior to the law) in Christ alone. That is the precise point, 'allein' that Luther pointed to which set the Catholic org ablaze because they were making salvation conditional to the Catholic fealty to the Catholic Org sacraments. Your religion just substitutes fealty to the law which Christ has already fulfilled for a born again Believer.

The focus upon works is why you keep flogging Ravi , to support your Grace plus false religion. By making salvation conditional you insult the Grace of God which is 'unm,erited favor', or UNCONDITIONAL, unconditional even after He births us from above.

Phil, think about an answer: Can your flesh -which is your body and behavior mechanism- commit sin after your death upon this earth?... So as long as the flesh is alive IT CAN SIN AND DOES. But the actions of the 'dead to sin' flesh cannot effect the abiding God Seed in your born again spirit, if it be that you have been born again.

Your reasoning is flawed. You equate biological death with sinful nature death. With biological death, there is no consciousness, no free will, nothing until you are raised from the grave at Christ’s return. You are not capable of sinning or keeping God’s commandments after that point. Your eternal salvation and God’s reward has then been decided based on your life and WORKS, as God clearly says in Revelation 22. You didn’t keep his commandments and show the fruits of your love to him by works? Oopsie.

Nope. My “SDA religion” shows God that we love him for what he did for us on the cross. Too bad yours doesn’t. Do you know him? Do you love him? Do you keep his commandments? No?
