LOL, right on cue the mocker shows up!

Can you sin after you die? What dies? Not just the body stops functioning, so you definitely CANNOT sin after you die.

What has died in our salvation by faith alone in Christ alone? Paul answers that precise thing and you have read it without realizing what GOD is saying when He has Paul write that our flesh has been put to death on the cross. Spiritually, the sin nature is sequestered away from the born again spirit where GOD is abiding, IRREVOCABLY.

The Word of God tells us that it is GOD WHO is in the born again. God abides in the spirit of the born again. God cannot sin so the born again spirit remains sinless until GOD pairs that spirit with a new body and behavior mechanism, in the Departure of The Body of Christ.

The corruptible MUST put on incorruptible. The flesh (body + behavior mechanism / soul) is corruptible and so long as it is not in the grave it will sin. We live by the spirit where God IS abiding as we deny the flesh to rule over us. That is what WE are called to do.

What does God do? He abides in our born again spirit so that there is an aspect to us that cannot sin and is awaiting The Departure from this 4D realm.

Actually, it was rough at work last night and I just woke up and signed on. Nothing nefarious going on.

Your reasoning is flawed. You equate biological death with sinful nature death. With biological death, there is no consciousness, no free will, nothing until you are raised from the grave at Christ’s return. You are not capable of sinning or keeping God’s commandments after that point. Your eternal salvation and God’s reward has then been decided based on your life and WORKS, as God clearly says in Revelation 22. You didn’t keep his commandments and show the fruits of your love to him by works? Oopsie.

Born againers cannot sin

There is an “aspect” to born againers that cannot sin

The spirit in born againers cannot sin but the flesh can

Born againers are perfect

Born againers are robots

If Ravi raped those women he’s still going to heaven but his reward will be less.

WHAT ON THIS EARTH ARE YOU TRYING TO SAY???

Let me quote Barnes again:

Barnes’s Notes: Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin - This passage must either mean that they who are born of God, that is, who are true Christians, do not sin habitually and characteristically, or that everyone who is a true Christian is absolutely perfect, and never commits any sin. If it can be used as referring to the doctrine of absolute perfection at all, it proves, not that Christians may be perfect, or that a “portion” of them are, but that all are. But who can maintain this? Who can believe that John meant to affirm this? Nothing can be clearer than that the passage has not this meaning, and that John did not teach a doctrine so contrary to the current strain of the Scriptures, and to fact; and if he did not teach this, then in this whole passage he refers to those who are habitually and characteristically righteous.

Adding to the list on post 359:

“It’s the FLESH + BEHAVIOR MECHANISM / soul that sins (so Ravi gets a free pass and rape isn’t a sin and rape really isn’t rape” “If your flesh sins, meh, don’t worry about it. Your spirit can’t sin and you’re fine as far as God is concerned. But, on earth, you might do 10-20 in prison. Just do your time and then I’ll see you in the clouds.”

You have got to admit...that last part was funny.

And by the way, who’s mocking? I’m trying to knock some sense into your head. Salvation is the most serious of subjects.

So born againers CANNOT sin as humans on this earth? IS THAT YOUR FINAL ANSWER???

Why don’t you ping all your buddies again so they can help get you out of the hole you dug for yourself?
