I wonder, when the mocking and derision flow forthy from the gallery, is it because they don't believe it is GOD WHO is in the born again? Do the mockers reject the notion of being born again in the now because they refuse to believe God abides in a born again spirit?

I wonder, does the father of lies immediately rush to implant the 'reasoning' that they don't see a perfect life after that claim of being born again. So they reject the entire truth that today is the day, this is the hour they are being called to believe in The Savior, Whom God has sent, so to receive the Holy Spirit seal within our human spirit which was before operating by the inveigling of the spirit of death?

I wonder, is that negation 'reasoning' planted in the pride cubbyhole of their soul, so it 'feels' personal, as if a super gotcha has been discover by that pride power?

I wonder, is that why such folks reject the Truth that there is coming a day when GOD will transform and snatch away from this four dimensional realm the Body of Christ Believers, by placing the sinless spirit of the born agains into a glorified body and behavior mechanism that is also sinless and not drawn to prideful sin like the old flesh nature?

2 Thess 2:3 has Paul telling us that the antichrist cannot be revealed until after the Body of Christ Believers are departed from the 4 dimensional realm. The sticking word for so many is 'apostasia', The Apostasia.

The etymology of the word is the Greek 'apos' (apart or away from) and the verb 'histemi' (to stand). This yields in fundamental form (with a definite article preceding apostasia) 'The To stand away from', translated simply with The Departure in the first few English Translation Bibles. Even Jerome translated 'The Apostasia' with the Latin word for depart and the definite article in Latin yielding The Departure.

This is an event of what Paul describes in 1 Corinthians 15:50-58 as a transformation in the twinkling of an eye, for the still alive when Jesus comes to gather us to Himself and return to the Father's House where He, Jesus, has been preparing lodging places for us (John 14) during the seven years of Tribulation upon the Earthdwellers and ISRAEL.

Paul wrote that the corruptible (our 4D flesh) must put on incorruptible, faintly echoing what Jesus told His disciples after His resurrection, when He suddenly appeared in the locked and shuttered Upper Room to correct Thomas's doubting.

But why a departure to remove the restrainer? ... These are aspects of the meat an unregenerate mind cannot grasp or even ask. These are details of our status as born agains that the infant in Christ will not even ask until some growth in the spirit has happened.

Thus, marvel not when you see the mocking and derision coming from unregenerate spirits, they have a spirit manipulating the mind of their soul which hates God and them and the Body of Christ which is to be departed before the all signs and lying wonders powers of satan can be released.

During the Age of the Church (Body of Christ Believers, not a specific org or denomination) satan has focused his hate attacks upon the Believers, knowing they are escaped his final destination. Once the Body of Christ Believers are 'apostasiaed' from the 4D realm, satan will again focus his powers to deceive upon Israel, for 3 and 1/2 years anyway.

I guess it somehow doesn’t look like what they think it should so they reject it offhand.

Or maybe as boatbums said, it’s pride and the need to feel that you are doing SOMETHING to help God.

Or maybe it’s just plain fear, that people are actually afraid to lean completely on God and trust Him fully.

I cannot quite fathom how people think they can do anything that’s even remotely righteous enough to be accepted by God.

Not only are our motives suspect, we are corrupted by sin and therefore anything we do that we offer to God for atonement is corrupted as well.

There also must be a failure to see how much sin we have in our lives and how incapable we are of making atonement. The wages of sin is death, and good works are not the correct payment for the sin.

As I know you know, none of them has a testimony...None of them has ever turned to Jesus...None of them has ever called on the name of the Lord to save them...They mock us when we talk of a sinner's prayer...They mock us when we speak of a personal relationship with Jesus...

And there has to be a certain amount of jealousy...We claim to be indwelt and led by the Spirit of God and they have no idea what we're talking about...We're going to heaven and they are not, unless they are good enough...

I feel kind of bad for them...It's got to be extra tough to be born a Catholic...You have to overcome a lot of the baggage of that religion just to realize you have to call on Jesus, ask him to save you...
