Any Christian who is living under the law is subject to being dominated by sin and their accompanying condemnation will keep many from hiding it. The law STRENGTHENS sin (1 Cor 15:56).

There is only one answer to victory over sin and living a victorious Christian life: THE GOSPEL OF THE GRACE OF CHRIST unadulterated with the law.

They are also anti-Trump, and pro-coup and concerned about “US white evangelical extremism.”

There have been a lot of similar posts on FR regarding Ravi Zacharias, and the motivation is suspect.

On second thought: this is a poorly laid out article. The writer dismisses the plight of silenced and shamed victims too readily and is normalizing the sins in question — which are deviant and predatory in nature. Not mere lapses of judgment or of infidelity.

How am I reacting to it? The man is not here to defend himself and confront his accuser, whose every accusation is being accepted as truth, without question or proof. Why? Because we must always believe the female “victim”. Because women don’t lie about this kind of thing? We know they do.
So, I remain very skeptical and appalled at what I am seeing and reading.
God knows the truth and it is God’s right to treat Zacharias as he deserves.

Priests abused congregations for decades; the Catholic Church just moved them around, enabling them to continue their predatory behavior. The current pope seems to honor Socialism more than Scripture, but he apparently has no reason to fear removal from his office. No, Protestants aren’t more moral than Catholics, but we do hold immoral leaders responsible for their actions a lot quicker.

That's what I thought, too. Then, I read the report about pictures on his phone and other information which removed all doubt that he had been duplicitous. My heart breaks for his wife and children. RZ had so frequently invoked his father-in-law, 'a real gentleman', had referenced how he died, honoring the trust with his wife of 60+ years, had so often spoken of the harm that pornography does not only to the person who is being photographed but also people who consume it, had warned of the dangers not merely in terms of breaking up homes/marriages, but of how it's a harder addiction to overcome than alcohol or drugs, had been so aware of those dangers that he declined to co-author a book on the topic with his daughter, Naomi - and now, we learn this. Yes, it's difficult to come to terms with it, but the phone evidence is incontrovertible. Pray for his wife and children.

There is nothing to move around in these personality-idol models of ministries. One man is the star and when that person falls apart so does the whole ministry.

One does not need a church or specific religion to believe in God and one does not need to belong to a specific church where the tithings of its congregation allow the pastor or priest or whatever to live a better lifestyle than the members of his church.......

All the religions are filled with scandals of their practitioners which pretty much says you are putting your faith in a potential fraudster...........

I'll keep my personal faith in God, nobody else.........
