February 4, 2021 (LifeSiteNews) – Laudate, hailed as the number one Catholic App on Apple’s App Store, has disappointed Catholics for recently hosting prayer reflections that not only honored pro-abortion Vice President Kamala Harris but took issue with Catholics publicly opposing abortion on account of the division such a stance causes.
Laudate users were dismayed at the app’s Jan. 27 "Daily Bible Verse,” written by Seek First Community, that referred to Kamala Harris as a fruit of St. Angela Merici’s work. The original reflection (which has since been modified) stated:
Christian women is [sic] society's greatest investment. Convinced of this truth, St. Angela Merici founded the Company of St. Ursula, (Ursulines) a secular institute devoted to educating young women to be Christian wives, mothers, teachers, and catechists. Consider the fruits of St Angela's labor: Margaret Thatcher, Angela Merkel, Indira Gandhi, Teresa of Kolkata [sic], Kamala Harris, Teresa of Avila and so many more. It all began with the powerful Yes of Mary: "All generations shall call me blessed."
Catholics were shocked to see a pro-abortion activist honored next to revered pro-life saint Mother Teresa, who famously called abortion the “greatest destroyer of peace today” in her 1979 Nobel Peace Prize lecture.

Todays Democrats weren’t happy with this father William O Lipinski then son Daniel votes against abortion and the son’s being the only congressional democrat to vote NO on allowing men to to call themselves a women and compete with women in college sports. To stop this the demoncrats decided to remap the areas which supported them for their 2020 primary.

This spineless stance by the Catholic hierarchy is just how Nazism became the monster it was. Communism is an opportunist ideology that seeks the least resistance. Once it gets a grip, it is difficult to turn back. We see the signs of a corrupt hierarchy in the Church. Too bad the Catholic congregation are laying back and letting it happen.
This story doesn’t have anything to do with the hierarchy. It’s about a Catholic app.
Who is the Seek First Community? Are they monitored by the archdiocese? Are those putting out pro-abortion material on their apps getting any reaction by the Church Fathers?
No this is what is happening to any democrat who opposes the so called promotion of eliminating Christian values and acceptance of counter culture
I read the whole article, and that was my first thought, I’ve never heard of any Seek 1st Community. Their website has no info or background. Lots of people with axes to grind form small groups and give themselves names that sound good and appealing, but are wolves in sheep’s clothes. Just think of LCWR, this is like something they would write.
Good on all those who cancel this app and warn their friends. We cannot give in to abortion one bit, it is greatest evil today.
