Why does God allow bad things (like the Communization of America) to happen?

He receives an answer much in the form of the “simple math problem” that you posited, but is also told that “the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end” and “the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand”. To me this seems to weigh in favor of the idea that what is unknowable now may not always be unknowable, but is merely sealed by God until the time of the end approaches, and then we will be able to understand.

The bible has timing mysteries.
How many born 500 years ago would connect the about 2,000 cubits Israel was to stay away from the ark, to this current 2,000 year period where Spiritual Israel was kept from the Ark?
They were born at a time when it wasnt for them to know.
500 years later, puzzle pieces/mysteries can be put together.
It wouldn’t have been for His first disciples to know times or seasons either. Just like He instructed them in Acts.
If people studied the ‘disharmony’ of the gospels,they may find timing clues/mysteries too.
In Mathew and Mark, the words No Man Knows is recorded.
Those words are not in Luke and John.
Since we were always supposed to have at least 2,000 years from His Resurrection and Return,maybe Mathew and Mark represents time or eras that will be different from the time or eras of Luke and John.
Stories or words added or missing from any of the 4 gospels, and especially in the 3 synoptic gospels,may offer clues that werent available until near the end of the about 2,000 demon possessed swine years were completed.
Maybe all the while people are trying to harmonize the gospels, the Holy Spirit has intentional disharmony.
To the scoffer,those could be ‘proof’ of uninspiration.
To a disciple, those could be pearls of great value.
That really is depressing.
My faith in Christ will get me through all this, but it is still sad to see what is happening around us, knowing that it might only get worse before it gets better.
I love my country. Wish my fellow compatriots on the Left could do so as well.
It is very difficult not to feel hate in return for the hatred that is being poured on us.

I was trying to find the Scripture where Paul asks, is it better to obey man or God? But to no avail. Then this came to mind:

Exactly! And to that point, the Words spoken, “no man knoweth the day nor the hour” had to refer not to the Second coming, but indeed to the snatching away. Which I’m certain was your point. Well said my friend, well said indeed.

6+1, 6000+1000.. makes sense and follows His week pattern.
One item that goes a little beyond the 6+1-
Ezekiel 46:1
Thus saith the Lord God; The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall be shut the six working days; but on the sabbath it shall be opened, and in the day of the new moon it shall be opened.
He counts 6+1 every week.
But He counts 1+6+1 at the start of every one of His months.
The extra 1 is a New Moon Day. A day that, according to the Sovereign,is not one of His 6 work days or His Sabbath..
Every month’s 7th Day Sabbath ends up on His 8th day with that pattern He taught Ezekiel.
Tough to start counting 1+6+1 if all we’ve ever learned is 6+1.
But that 1 on front of the 6 sets up quite a pattern.
