Last good king

God uses some methods repeatedly such as when evaluating people and nations. He gives them opportunities to succeed and to change. At some point when the person or nation fails and refuses to change He declares them condemmed. Such as He did with Pharaoh; after Pharaoh hardened his heart three or four times with each of those plagues God hardened Pharaohs heart before each of the remaining plagues.

King Josiah reign was just such the opportunity for Isreal. After a long line evil kings, Josiah became King and made many improvements: taking down idols, reinstituted the worship of God. And as with all the kings, in 2 Kings God gives an evaluation of Josiah, 2 Kings 22:2 “And he did right in the sight of the Lord and walked in all the ways of his father David, nor did he turn aside to the right or to the left”. Josiah, considered by many as one of the greatest kings of Isreal and in some ways greater than David. Isreal was able to experience what it was like to receive the blessings from God and had the opportunity to turn back to Him or reject Him. It turned out all the changes were from Josiah's heart and not from the people. As soon as he died, Isreal reverted back to doing evil and God judged them for destruction and handed them over to their enemies. They had one more king, a bad one, before they were conquered and had two more bad kings installed by their conquerors.

The US has had some good presidents, ex George Washington, and many less than good presidents. In my opinion Donald Trump has been one of the best presidents this country has had and he was the last opportunity this country has to turn back to God before we as a country are judged. In the past months and week this country has shown what they desire: massive deception, corruption, rejection of God's standards by our leaders, institutions and approximately half of the people. Many shake their heads in disbelieve of the insanity. Because of their wicked hearts, 2 Thessalonians 2:11 “And for this reason God will send upon them a deluding influence so that they might believe what is false .” I believe this country has been judged wanting.

While some may say, God would not punish half the population; consider that other half. “all have fallen short of the Glory of God” , ” None are good except God” How many of them even consider themselves to be Christians? How many openly rejects His standards but calls themselves Christians? God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah even though there were righteous people in those cites before He destroyed it. He just removed them before the destruction. Can He not remove His people before He pours down punishment on this country? In the past He allowed His people to experience some of the punishment meant for others to show the demons that His people have faith even when they don't understand what is going on. Remember Job's story? God is in control and has a plan and the ride is going to get bumpy whether or not His people are here.

We may not know the exact timing but we are to see the signs of the seasons Luke 12 :54-56 and know when it is approaching.

Do not put the blame for biden on the voters.

We voted 80 million for Trump to Bidens much lower 65 or so million.

We got more people, out to vote way more than last time.

We had this election stolen from us. Clearly. So clearly no court wanted to even allow presentation of the evidence.

President Trump has been compared to King Jehu of Israel who ruled in the ninth century BC and tried to clean up the deep state/swamp of his day.

Who’s to say God will remove the f a ithfu, before He rai s down punisnment? C hristtians in foreign nations that are brutal towards Christians suffering for centuries at the hands of wicked rulers. We have had it very very good in America In that regard so far. Were not more special tha Christians in oth e r parts of the world. We hope our great nation will continue being great, ut God just may
A.low the left to destroy it and our liberties. I hope and pray not, but we again aren’t special.

Yes God could protect us by removing us first, but He could also require that we endure it too. Hopefully that isn’t the case though

Israel of old suffered a great deal under the various different wicked kings and rulers they had. I’m sure there were many faithful Jews who suffered unjustly because most of the Israelites at that time also turned away from God and worshiped false idols.

The old saying is true; A country deserves the leaders it has.

Maybe one of these days, after another Great Awakening, when America returns to its moral sanity and returns to God, maybe God will once again bless America and restore our country to greatness. But in the meantime, America is a sick, sick morally depraved nation. We hardly deserve God‘s favor.

The Biblical consequence for nationally legalized child sacrifice is invasion and conquest. A reprieve is possible. The individual is forgiven as was Josiah’s grandfather Manasseh when he repented while in a Babylonian prison cell and reinstated as king in Jerusalem. His grandson Josiah lead the nation in a great revival.

However, 2 kings 24 when Judah again broke parole:

3 Surely at the command of the Lord it came upon Judah, to remove them from His sight because of the sins of Manasseh, according to all that he had done, 4 and also for the innocent blood which he shed, for he filled Jerusalem with innocent blood; and the Lord would not forgive.

“and the LORD would not forgive.”

Universal suffrage exposes human nature.

Our relationship with our maker is one-on-one personal.

An equal case can be made that His will be done, may our earthy demise be merciful.

Think about this. 88% on the current congress identify as Christian, only 65% of the adult population do.
