On the Sunday morning after the deadly riot at the United States Capitol, Father William Corcoran put on his black suit and clerical collar and stepped into St. Elizabeth Seton church in the Chicago suburb of Orland Hills to celebrate the 7:30 a.m. Mass.
When it was time for the homily, he stood in front of the “celebrant’s chair” near the altar and removed his mask so that he could be clearly heard. He looked out at the 140 or so masked parishioners who sat in the sanctuary, which was still ornamented for Christmas.
He had a feeling this might not go well.
At the 5 p.m. Mass the day before, nine people had walked out as he delivered the remarks he prepared to say again now. He spoke without notes both times but figures he came close to the version eventually published in the church bulletin, which began like this:
“On this Feast of the Baptism of the Lord, we drink in the last goodness and glories of the Christmas season, and begin ordinary time on Monday.”
So far, so good. Then came the next sentence.
“Goodness and glory,” he continued, “are not two words that we would use describing our past week when we saw an angry and violent mob seize our United States Capitol and interrupt Congress in its duty of certifying the State Elector votes for President and Vice-President. Such an action has left many of us angry, and hurt. Since then we have entered a typical moment of finger pointing, blame, and holding people responsible for what happened. Such finger pointing is not new. In the very story of creation Adam points his finger at Eve for tempting him with the apple, and Eve points to the snake as the cause for all the trouble.

Wonder how many times the “progressive “ priest trashed pro-abort Catholics for murdering babies, blacks and the poor ?????
Pastor is an idiot and leftist press slobbering it up.
The Church excommunicated everyone who was a member of the Nazi party in Germany before Hitler rose to power.
Another Stalinazi Satanist “priest” spreading lies. Film at 11.
He needs to fear the secular/communist Democrats who want to end freedom of religion in this country. President Trump defended it against them, and this priest is too blind to see that. Or too dedicated to secular humanism instead of the faith in which he was ordained to be a priest
Undoubtedly friends with the Pope.
Leftist zombie attack....
bloody oozing mess is all that is left.
“Such an action has left many of us angry, and hurt.”
Many? Citation needed. The defiling of the Holy Lectern of St. Nancy of Botox is a horror only to the media.
This SJW in priest garments is a “Catholic pastor” the same way the Marxist lesbians pimping Obamacare are “Catholic nuns”. On paper only.
He needs to be replaced with a REAL priest like THIS guy:
Catholic priest in inspiring message of hope tells Christians how to survive ‘evil’ Biden administration

They should have yelled this “false priest” down as well.
If a journalist writes an article and no one reads it because they have a pay wall, is it journalism and what purpose does it serve? I’m sick of pay walls from newspapers and they still use advertising. There is no reason to subscribe to newspapers that one rarely read because geography.
Is the Catholic church Catholic anymore?
Then I told him not to bother sending me the usual request for a donation to the Bishop's Lenten Appeal this year.
Want to take sides? Lose money - a variation on "Get woke, go broke".
Whadda preening maroon!
Pope Pius X had ZERO TOLERANCE for 'social justice' crusaders, marxists, agnostics, atheists, moral relativists, etc., in the Catholic Church, and his papal bull on the "Heresy of Modernism" should be required reading. He even went so far as to require priests, bishops, cardinals, etc. to take an "Oath against mondernism" and commit in writing they would never subscribe to that false ideology.
Also I find it amusing when people claim being pro-capital punishment is incompatible with Catholicism, and that Pope Francis somehow "decreed" it was (Francis has no power to change Catholic teaching from the last 2000 years, sorry!) Pope Pius X was ironically the most recent Pope prior to John XXIII and John Paul II to be named a Saint by the Catholic Church, and he publicly supported the use the death penalty. I guess they didn't get the memo when they named him a saint. ;-)
If Pope Pius X was around now, this priest wouldn't get another sermon out before he was promptly defrocked by his holiness.
Mister, we could use a man like Pius X again!
7 “Do not judge, or you too will be judged. 2 For in the same way you judge others, you will be judged, and with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.
3 “Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother’s eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye? 4 How can you say to your brother, ‘Let me take the speck out of your eye,’ when all the time there is a plank in your own eye? 5 You hypocrite, first take the plank out of your own eye, and then you will see clearly to remove the speck from your brother’s eye.
In that same vein, Im a sinner for not killing godless communists taking over my country.
I’m just trying to be patient, like God is. At some point though the patience ends.
here’s an ironic story...
I am a practicing Catholic whose not been to church in a month primarily due to the non stop hypocrisy of pope francis the red.
My parish, which is located in liberal NY, is actually very conservative. The priest is a former Marine who served in the late 70’s- he was in the Strait of Hormuz during the Iranian hostage drama. In 20 years, except for the anti-abortion message, they never dare talk politics.
A Presbyterian friend of mine, someone whose very conservative and attended a few Trump rally’s with me, both pre and post election, asked about my Catholic church. He could not stand attending the left wing Presbyterian churches in the area with their nonstop blm/open borders nonsense.
I told him the truth- its a nice church with no political drama. He attended mass on Sunday- a Presbyterian in a Catholic church, then sent me a note how he loved it. Liked the message and the fact he didn’t have to listen to LW nonsense.
