Scalfari: Francis' Goal Is One World Religion

Francis has often said to the Italian atheist Eugenio Scalfari, 96, that he wanted to end “conflicts” between Catholics and Protestants and make the differences between them "bearable."

Scalfari writes (IlSussidiario.net, November 20) that, as a matter of fact, Francis has gone far beyond this “challenge” and has also dealt with non-Christian religions because God is for Francis “not simply Christian."

Francis' belief that there is "only one God" who is "the same everywhere," is for Scalfari "revolutionary." According to Scalfari it is the goal of Francis to make clear that "there is only one God and one religion."

Fortunately for us Christians, we will not be anywhere around to object.

Amen. For years, Christians on this site have said that we would soon be facing:

- the elimination of paper cash and the move to a one world currency

- the push for a one world religion (and many Christians named the Vatican as the catalyst)

- the destruction of national sovereignty and the move towards a one world government

If I were to go back 10 or 15 years, some folks on FR thought that anyone believing these things was literally insane.

But now here we are, on the verge of the "Great Re-set."

The Bible predicts a one world economic system, a one world dictatorship, and a one world religion led by the False Prophet.

I don't know how long humanity has - but it is abundantly clear that if human history were a time clock, we are in the last seconds.

I left the Catholic Church 25 years ago when I accepted Christ as my Savior.

For doing so, many members of my own family rebuked me. I would not say the "disowned" me, but for many of them things were never the same. I had a dear aunt call me on the phone and berate me for over an hour about leaving the Catholic church. I have been at family gatherings (weddings, funerals, reunions) where relatives have mocked me for leaving Catholicism.

There is a price to be paid if you make a decision for Christ.

Most Conservative Catholics on this site simply spew the "Francis is not my Pope!" line. The sad truth is that if you refuse to leave the Catholic church, Francis IS your Pope.

Who would they rather choose - Jesus Christ or Francis?

If that answer seems obvious, then they need to act on it.
