NYT/CNN poll?
Not a single one of my bibles contains any support for same sex ‘marriage’.
Vast majority of Catholics in the west don’t believe in the real presence. They are not catechized. Catholicism is not a democracy
It does not change according to mob rule.
well for pure public health reasons, I support them settling down with one person, and if they want to pretend they are married *shrug* big deal, no skin off my back.
And the Pope is an atheist, so what’s the point?
I do not accept poll analysis since Nov. 3rd. They are all liars.
This poll was not taken by interviewing Catholics leaving Mass on Sunday!!!!!!!
How was the question worded on the survey? Excuse me if I don’t take the lying words of a Marxist propagandist that “supported” is an accurate analysis of the survey.
I would be more inclined to believe that a majority of western Catholics do “accept” that same sex marriage is a legal reality whether they like it or not.
I suspect a look at the survey would lean more towards my suspicions than it does towards their “analysis.”
Most of the people surveyed would not be recognized as Catholics by the Church prior to 1960.
These Push polls are as accurate as the rest of the polls. People need to quit giving this Soros propaganda legitimacy.
I don’t.
With Francis the F@gg0t, Joe Biden, Nanzi Pelosi, and other cafeteria catholics (small c is intentional) what do you expect?
yeah
no problem
oh wait
that pesky bible
If that survey is accurate, it would indicate that a majority of western catholics agree with Satan and will spend eternity with the damned.
The report said 61% of Catholics support sin and evil of homosexuality. Well considering that only 40% of Catholics actually participate at all and maybe 25% actually go to daily or weekly mass, than that sounds accurate. I do not consider Joe Biden or Nancy Pelosi as Catholics for supporting abortion and gays. Those 61% are not really Catholic at all in any way other than maybe they were baptized once, likely not confirmed and likely do not receive Communion or any of the other Sacraments.
Who am I to judge?
This is what happens when biblical church discipline isn’t exercised.
Wording is important. For example, the 2019 Pew Survey mentioned in the article asked whether they favored allowing same-sex couples to marry legally. There’s probably a decent chunk of those people who see that as a different issue than whether they should be allowed to marry in the church or whether they actually “favor” same-sex marriage from a moral standpoint.
In line with people in general, I suppose?
Is this the survey that includes anyone to be Catholic if they identify as one?
The last survey like that I read like that had protestants athiests and others included (+30%) at such a high percentage that it was worthless.
That said there are a lot of Catholics who support same sex marriage. Like many clergy, they believe the propaganda of the media. Of course pushing against that tide is Christ himself. In the end they will have to chose who to believe.
