Okay, then the five things that every Catholic needs to know about Catholic Joe Biden.
Number one Joe Biden is unabashedly pro-abortion. This fact is clear from his long voting record his public pronouncements his allegiance to and support of groups like Planned Parenthood and NARAL and from his partys platform not only in this election year, but in their platform going back decades. He and they support abortion for any reason or for no reason right up to an even beyond the moment of birth.
He and they opposed the effort in Congress to pass legislation requiring doctors who perform abortions to provide medical care to babies who survived the abortion opting rather to let such babies simply die outside the womb with no care. He and they are pushing for the repeal of the Hyde Amendment. An action which would force All American taxpayers (including you and me to fund abortions) (to pay for them).
Along with their anti-life positions on euthanasia physician-assisted suicide embryonic stem cell research and other issues that Democratic party has become the party of death and Catholic Joe Biden is their standard Bearer or as he said in the first presidential debate. I am the Democratic party

C’mon, Man. Abortion is just an idea.
So is Marxism.
Both of these ideas are responsible for millions of deaths.
A bad idea, an evil idea can cause the human race untold misery. People that espouse these ideas serve evil and will reap the rewards due them in the hereafter.
Well put. Something for Joe to think over.
Very telling that Fr. Meeks only quotes Pope Benedict in his homily.
But, I am not surprised that he would be hard pressed to find an useful from our current Pope for such a sermon.
I ran into this the other day! Share it far and wide! I think any Christian will appreciate his message.
Thanks for posting. I’m listening to it again this morning.
You are welcome
He says later on that “socialism has been clearly and vigorously condemned and denounced by an unbroken string of no less than 11 consecutive popes from Pius IX in 1849 to Benedict the 16th in 2005.” Notice, he stops with Benedict. It’s pretty obvious that he thinks Francis is a socialist, and disagrees with him.
The Catholic church has been cursed with bad Popes before. Hopefully we don’t have too many more years with this one.
I am working on a transcript of Fr. Meeks’ speech, when I get done, I will post it here.
There is a transcript at the link.
LOL, I am so brain dead. I first saw this on YouTube, and took the transcript off of there. It had no punctuation, or capitalization, and was a long string of words separated by time stamps. I had worked on it for a couple of hours a few nights ago, and just got back to it.
I was listening to the video at this link as I was working on my transcript, determined to get it done this morning. Just now, I realized it’s on the page under the video. Duh!
I wanted to email it to friends, so they could read it if they wanted. I guess we all know how to copy paste! Hope I didn’t confuse you. I’m pleading old age.
I understand old age from experience.
Link to Fr. Meeks homily:
During his homily Fr. Meeks mention his parish as a “Personal Ordinate”. He is a former Episcopal/Now Ordained Catholic priest, married with children.
Our reading of this indicates he had a separate track thru the Catholic Church and can “not” be disciplined by the Archbishop of Baltimore.
