This is in Sardis, Michigan, right?
Or Pergamum, MI?
>>Ive also questioned if I was a lesbian in the past.
Her masters won’t permit her to seek counseling
If she has any doubts about being lesbian, they must be suppressed and any discussion with another person to explore heterosexuality is considered “offensive”.
*sigh*
So tired of hearing from every tiny community about their issues and problems. I really think that we get it now.
Someone here said that it’s “The love that won’t shut up,” a play on Oscar Wilde’s famous “The love that dare not speak its name.”
So she likes women? So do I. But I control my impulses.
“Calvin College” sounds better. The new name makes it sound less distinctive for some reason.
Oh my dog (sic)
The filth is everywhere.
And perverts embrace it and hold it dear.
Well she’s got Total Depravity going for her.
The CRC went off the rails years ago when it started ordaining women. As someone said, every denomination that ordains women will eventually ordain homosexuals.
When the CRC started ordaining women, several congregations left and started the URC (United Reformed Church). It is faithful to the Reformed faith.
The PCA is on a slippery slope, and it doesn’t portend well for the future. The OPC (Orthodox Presbyterian Church) is still on the right path, and I pray they continue to be faithful to the Word of God. We are members of an OPC church.
Matthew 7:22-23 is applicable here. Wait till she meets the guy who says that Gods word didn’t mean to outlaw rape and murder.
The CRC are the Dutch Reformed in America. The friend who sent me that link also sent along this 2018 essay by the Rev. Christopher Gordon, a pastor in one of the NAPARC (conservative Presbyterian) churches.
Rev. Gordon is with the United Reformed Churches, a body that split off of the CRCNA back in the '90s. Also CRC was in NAPARC, and got kicked out when they started ordaining women pastors.
Oh, yeah. And, nothing much I hear surprises me about the CRC, anymore. Alas.
