Pete kindly corrected the translation I foolishly quoted under the medallion (#18). I am taking the liberty of posting his correction here:

The German medallion WAS IC UND DU MITEINANDER GEREDT HABEN is not “Why should he be put to death” but rather “Regarding that matter in which I and Thou took council together.”

Why should he be put to death? (Warum shlagen ihm sollten?) (I think these are good translations even though its 35 years since German class and I was not that fluent even then!)
