Nice dodge. My remarks had no reference to the Israeli-Arab dispute. Rather, it was a theological question concerning the relationship of Judaism to Christianity. I would have raised the same question in 1900, years before the present Israeli-Arab dispute.
I'm on the side of G-d who gave the land to the Jews in perpetuity. There always was and always be Israel.
And it was God who sent the Jews into exile 2000 years ago. Why? Even today, 52 years after the establishment of the State of Israel, there is no temple, no sacrifices. Despite the return of the Jews to the Land of Israel, the Mosaic covenant is not being fulfilled. What happened 2000 years ago that God would do this?
Why is it that people ignore that there were/are TWELVE tribes of ISRAEL... person, originally named Jacob ... Now it was after the reign of Solomon these TWELVE had a civil war ... and the land became divided .. TEN tribes were in Samaria and TWO tribes were left in Judah ... The TEN northern tribes far outnumbered the TWO left in Judah, were sent in captivity unto the Assyrian king ... Course the tribes of Judah and Benjamin followed course in a mere 200 + or - years to the ‘king’ of Babylon ... (means confusion)..
Why not tell what actually took place ... The Heavenly Father sure has kept the only perfect record.
