The words seem apt to our time. Anarchy loosed upon the world and the best among us lack conviction while the worst run rampant.

I believe if one could sum up the situation in one word it is ENVY....

The anarchists are envious of successful people. Some unsuccessful cultures and religions are envious of the more successful.

And secondly, some people just simply cannot abide other people happily going about their lives.
