What I did write is our presence as the redeemed is axiomatic with the scene in chapter five, as we the redeemed are singing a new song as the lamb takes the scroll and begins to open it. Chapter five has The Redeemed in Heaven when the scroll is take and the Lamb begins to open it, launching the Tribulation/Jacob's troubles.
What “we,” where? Which words in what verse document that we’re there at this moment? I don’t see a group mentioned that can be construed as “we” in the scene before God’s throne; there’s The Father, The Lamb, a veritable sea of angels, four living creatures and 24 elders.
If there’s a mass of redeemed former Earth inhabitants taking part in this scene, they aren’t mentioned. If “we” are there in Heaven, why aren’t “we” explicitly mentioned? How could it possibly be that, on such an occasion, the millions of redeemed would be present and John wouldn’t faithfully record that fact?
I’m not buying it; it’s not his character.
The Four Living Creatures and the 24 Elders sing the first part of this new song, the sea of angels join them for the second, then every other creature everywhere joins in the third part. This includes “every creature in heaven, on earth, under the earth, and on the sea.”
“We” obviously must be part of that group, but not the part that’s in Heaven; it’s a non-starter to claim “we” are there the whole time and John just doesn’t mention the millions of us.
