Every Sunday I listen to broadcasts of the Old Fashioned Revival Hour from the 1950's. These hour-long programs consist of about 35 minutes of hymns and gospel songs, mostly written from 1860-1939, which include tunes by great Christian hymnodists such as Fanny Crosby, Lelia Morris, George Stebbins, Charles Gabriel, P. P. Bliss, James McGranahan and many others. These are followed by a 20-minute homily based on a Bible passage.

When visiting Mom last year, we found some of Dad’s vinyl records of the OFRH Quartet. We brought them home and turned them into MP3s. Great music.
