My preference when using any reference to this pontiff is Payaso desviado . When the theocratic assertions moslem’s claim are mono theistic commands gets a well intentional embrace not condemnation from him ,A prayer to St Michael is in order.

When I was a kid a friend of mine told me what his (old school Irish) mother told him when she found out he was on to the whole birds and the bees thing.

Guaranteed this “Pope” has raped multiple little boys.

For years he’s done it. Guaranteed. Evil incarnate.

I am missing the context, while the link to "The pontiff acknowledged in the book," leads to,

Pope Francis Appoints Six Women to Senior Vatican Roles..The 15-member Council for the Economy has never had a female appointee since it was formed in 2014. The appointment of six women to the body that oversees the Vatican’s finances is the most significant move Pope Francis has made in his commitment to giving more leadership roles in the Catholic Church to women.

Which is about the latest on this liberal lost soul.

A prayer to St Michael is in order.

Prayer to created beings in Heaven is just one of the distinctive Catholic teachings that are not manifest in the only wholly inspired substantive authoritative record of what the NT church believed (which is Scripture, in particular Acts through Revelation, which best shows how the NT church understood the gospels).

At least he acknowledges there is a difference between catholics and Christians. I've always been of the opinion that they are mutually exclusive. Either you're a catholic or you're a Christian.

Sadly that usually is the case, as with liberal Prots.

The Bible according to Francis: “if it feels good, do it”

The pope has no idea what he’s talking about. He clearly has no idea the joy of chastity or the joy of fasting. Absolutely foreign ideas to him, which is telling us all about him.

Both are sacrifices God rewards if done by those of saving heart-purifying regenerating penitent faith. (Acts 10:43; 15:7-9)

Are the Seven Deadly Sins no longer deadly?

Despite what imbalanced souls as Jerome and Augustine taught, marital relations are not unclean or necessarily lust.

I've always been of the opinion that they are mutually exclusive. Either you're a catholic or you're a Christian.

Clearly, the Pope is trying not to use the word "Protestant" here, as it is not ecumenical PC for the clergy to use - nor though, does it even have a common descriptive understandability anymore.. so "Christian" is then assumed to be the preferred descriptor...

Not that the term "Christian" is anymore definitive as a label. Wile some may enjoy an erroneous "mutual" exclusivity of the terms "Catholic / Christian" ... One would find little agreement on what the word "Christian" actually can even mean anymore, inclusive of liberal sects or otherwise....

CS Lewis noted 80 years ago the term "Christian" had already been watered down to a diminished meaningfulness.... yet he was also savvy enough to stay away from the fact that for One thousand- five hundred years after the Resurrection, there were only Catholics, fighting heresy.

I guess they're mostly deadly now.

"Pleasure arrives directly from God, it is neither Catholic, nor Christian, nor anything else, it is simply divine."

I just KNEW these two were NOT the same!

...sexual pleasure is there to make love more beautiful and guarantee the perpetuation of the species,” says the Pope.

Ain't evolution wonderful!

If he stated that sexual pleasure is a good of marriage then he is not blaspheming.

I've heard that Joseph; Jesus' step-father; had a slightly different view of this.

Mary’s perpetual virginity does not negate the teaching that sexual unity and being open to life is a good of marriage.

God did invent the holy Sacracmnt of Matrimony, only where heterosexual sex is permissible, and He did invent acts of penance such as fasting and abstention, both of which the rolly-polly, pervert failed to mention.

The non-ecumenical PC popes (i.e. preconciliar) would use the term "heretics".

And progressively teaching it.
