Excellent. Thanks for posting.
Or.........you’re a democrat.
The slipper slope is when faith tries to overcome the people and you get a tyrant who makes things up in the name of religion and everything becomes sacrilege punishable by death.
Think Middle Ages. Not a good time.
The United States Constitution was created with that in mind, that separation of church and State means the government doesn’t get to tell the people what to think. That doesn’t mean people don’t use their faith to guide their moralities and judgement in government.
Did anyone notice that middle east peace deal requires all the countries to push for the removal of laws against Homosexuality?
The Panzer Pope said it right:

The new leader of the Roman Catholic Church has denounced moral relativism, the idea that moral principles have no objective standards. Pope Benedict XVI has characterized it as the major evil facing the church.
Was he right or was he right?
There is an underlying notion I see here:
“You have to think this way and this way only to be a good American”.
Another responder wrote about the Constitution, and that government cannot endorse any single theological system
This is the 21st Century, not the 18th.
There are ‘good Americans’, who do not espouse the notions posited by the author of the posted article. Some of them are military veterans that put their life on the line for that author’s safety, and yours’.
I will close with the notion, that there is a 40 year long program, under the notion “taking this nation ‘back’ for gawd”, first espoused by the pentecostals in America. My resounding question is this: “What do you intend to do with all those American citizens, who refuse, WITHOUT trampling THEIR 1st Amendment rights?”
Until pastors start preaching about the righteousness of the BLM cause...as some have been doing.
