To: Hebrews 11:6
Moses died. Elijah didn't.
Could be that Moses represents the "dead in Christ", who will rise when Jesus comes back.
And Elijah represents "we who are alive" - who will be "caught up in the air" (with them).

I won't argue the point beyond what I've already stated, and your view may well be correct, although you haven't successfully debunked my theory. This could put Enoch in line as the other Witness. I like your proposed symbolism--inventive and plausible: fits the essential facts and sounds like the explanations the Bible gives for other imagery.

We'll see!
