Trump gets reelected and this will be like vinegar on the teeth of the left. The left will absolutely seethe with anger, probably violence. The one-world types will also seethe as they perceive their one-world plan is set back yet again. And then suddenly... millions are gone. Christians, the solid Trump voting block, gone. After the shock and fear of this event begins to subside, or as a means of alleviating the panic of the event, one person begins to surface to calm people down with whatever explanation, and then very, very persuasively starts to proclaim that now that the homophobic, hateful Christians are gone they are free to elect anyone of their choosing without the right wing. They are now FREE of the very people who have prevented them from having peace on earth, prevented them from love is love, prevented them from implementing John Lennon's Imagine. The bigots, the right, they are finally gone.
So, for me, as I watch the irrational hatred of Trump, and then thinking about the Left quit literally struggle mentally to come to grips with another 4 years of Trump, the removal of a majority of Trump supporters from the Rapture will be spun as a great, great, fantastic thing. People will now, finally, be free of the bigots who have held humanity back from everything liberals have long said was possible to create here on earth, but for the narrow-minded, freedom suppressing prudes. The sad thing is, is that they will be exactly correct, they will now create the very world they have so longed for, and it will be Hell on earth. So, my puny thesis is Trump gets reelected to set up the ability of one charismatic person to emerge and frame the Rapture as a truly good thing for humanity if they follow him who will now, together, create the world they always knew was possible.

I think it’s a perfectly plausible scenario that you present there.
Once we’re gone, all hell is literally unrestrained and the left will get exactly what they wish for politically - most definitely not geopolitically (wars and the rest).

My wife and I were talking about this the other day. Her ideas go pretty much along the same lines of yours, but with 1 addition. The sudden disappearance of so many in the top part of government in the United States and in the world will set in motion an economic collapse. With the economic collapse of the dollar, the world is suddenly going to wake up Poor, with no idea how to get things back the way they were. Enter in one person who says, “Hey, I can fix this. Just follow me”. And that’s when the antichrist starts to come to power.
