Amen to your timely prayer of remembrance, dear NEWwoman! Not only were we victorious, but we also helped our former enemy transform its industries and become a strong partner in the world economy.
Thank You, Lord, for every sacrifice of WWII that gave our nation a period of peace and prosperity. May those young Americans, so at contrast with many of this generation, not have died or struggled in vain, Father God.
Thank You also for the strong present-day friendship between President Trump and Prime Minister Abe of Japan. We ask Your blessing on their efforts to stabilize the Far East region; and likewise, on yesterday’s announcement of an agreement between Israel and United Arab Republics, negotiated by the Trump administration. May it flourish and bear fruit to bring stability and even wider alliances in the Middle East, and favor on Your Promised Land.
