It will be churches next,' Christian Concern CEO warns
A Christian ministry in the United Kingdom said it received death threats and had its accounts shut down after a "mob rule" campaign by LGBTQ activists, falsely accusing it of "conversion therapy."
Core Issues Trust (CIT), a non-profit Christian ministry that supports men and women who voluntarily seek change in sexual preference and expression, was targeted at the end of June as the U.K. seeks to ban conversion therapy.
Earlier this week, Barclays Bank notified CIT that it was closing the group's accounts after several other companies took action against the group. Mailchimp and Paypal suspended its services, and both Facebook and Instagram removed content from its pages.
"A coordinated campaign has resulted in our ministry coming under immense pressure and key service providers canceling their services, action which we consider to be discriminatory," Mike Davidson, CEO of CIT, said in a statement.
The U.K.'s Government Equalities Office responded to an online petititon with more than 200,000 signatures to ban conversion therapy.

Satanists and their corporate allies at work. There will be a price to pay.
These same people believe that people can be born women in men’s bodies and vice versa and should be able to go through surgery to mutilate their bodies to “change” their genetic and anatomical sex, but don’t believe people who don’t want to be gay should be able to say so or try to convert themselves. It’s extraordinary nonsense.
By the UK’s logic, people who are sexually attracted to barn animals should not be able to receive treatment.
The U.K.’s Government Equalities Office is useless and just harasses people. Avoid its officers. Therapy works, since homosexuality is a temporary response to trauma. If the trauma is healed through therapy, then the sick, disgusting, homosexual tendencies go away. Proof: thousands of ex-gays are happily free. Why would anyone stop the healing of suffering people? Probably because misery loves company.
And people who are alcoholics should not go to AA meetings.
And drug addicts should not be sent to court ordered rehab.
