Sister Constance, the youngest and the first to die, reportedly chanted Psalm 117, Laudate Dominum omnes gentes as she began her walk up the steps. When I did the eulogy for my father after his passing, I quoted this psalm from the Vulgate Bible, where it is numbered Psalm 116. Wolfgang A. Mozart's Laudate Dominum (1780), which combines this psalm with the Gloria Patri prayer, was also performed at the service by the choir he had directed for decades.
