Hello, I wanted to offer an update for my mother, Edith, who has head and neck cancer. She’s been on the prayer list since beginning of the year and I put in an occasional update for her. In August it was determined that immunotherapy was not working and Dr felt that hospice would be best for her. Radiation held the tumor in her face back for about 10 weeks and then it started to regrow. I’m remain here with her - she is still on her feet and puttering about the house.
Doctor didn’t say how long he thought she would last. The cancer is in her liver and bones and of course, the face. If *only* the tumor in her face would slow down so that it doesn’t make her utterly miserable, or start wrapping around her throat :( It did attack some of the facial nerves so half her face has dropped, but she can swallow and eat. Thank you for prayers for her.

Father in Heaven, we ask that you help Edith fight cancer. Please reduce the impacts on her face and through, help her immune system fight the disease and guide the course of treatment to provide her with the best quality of life and physical comfort. Please help Edit and her whole family perceive your tender car through this struggle. Thank you for all the days you’ve blessed Edit. I ask for healing for Edith in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ. Amen
