I have a long time theory: Some of the things we are witnessing, and some of the heinous crimes we've heard of in the country, around the world, etc in the past and the present are committed by demons in human form. Not just 'tools' of satan but actual demons in the flesh.

It's a spiritual war no doubt but the demons are also roaming the planet in human form.

They are human/demonic hybrids and I believe I have encountered a few recently.

They have a look of demonic hatred that might even freeze you.

Perhaps. I do, however, think that a demon possessed person, is different from a Nephilim. A demon possessed person, can be delivered from his possession, a Nephilim cannot. They are hybrid creatures.
While I think both exist in the world today, and are definitely evil, I don’t think there is a demon possessed person or a Nephilim behind every tree. I believe they are here, but I also think there are just evil people everywhere, but not all are demon possessed, or hybrids (Nephilim)
