You’re fiesty today.
Yes, it’s a prophecy yet to come. I’m saying come make it reality and grab my tzitzit (fringes.)
These times are vexing and are in mainstream Torah-observant opinion, the Messiah is on the threshold of redeeming the world.
As Ravi Zacharias said (or was he quoting another?) Let the Messiah come and he can then ask, “Have you been here before?”
This is the crux. Christians feel they must preach the gospel. Fine. Jews are required by halacha to preach as well. There are seven actual commandments (Works!) appicable to all mankind:
Belief in a singular G-d (to the exclusiin of a trinity, G-d forbid)
Rejection of idol worship
Do not murder
Do not steal
Do not harm animals/cause unnecessary pain
Maintain proper family relationships (no-same-sex marriage)
Maintain a civil society with judges and police.
So hard? Our country at its inception was the best thing going (we had a good run)
There you have it. We all need to return to the G-d of Israel and all mankind in repentance.
Can’t say I agree with the feisty part. I’m just pointing out that most of Zechariah is future - like Zechariah 12:10. So glad you brought that book up.
Heck the whole chapter 12 is relevant to today’s world from the Jewish perspective.
Some of us crazy Christians actually care about you & your people. You might view Messianic Jews as a bizarre bunch. I can see your point actually, because I was once a worldly ‘christian in name only’ that never read the Bible. To me and most Christians however, they are living proof that Your God (My God also) keeps His Covenants and Promises and eventually a massive amount of your people will finally fulfill Zechariah 12:10.
My heart is very heavy about the time of Jacob’s trouble. It weighs me down. I really don’t think you get what is coming down the pipe post Ezekiel 38/39.
