The first time I read Genesis all the way through, I was quite scandalized by the behavior of Lot’s daughters. But one of the children born of that situation became the Nation of Moab, from whom came Ruth, King David’s Great-Grandmother.
And thus, by extension, the Messiah, Son of David.
And remember, Lot was willing to sacrifice his daughters to the mob until the angels intervened.
God really DOES use the foolishness of this world to confound the “wise”.
He sees the End from the Beginning and the Beginning from the End.
