Meanwhile U.S. Catholic Bishops cower in silence, as though silence will spare their Churches from Marxist attacks.
Its ironic that one had to go to Russia to find someone who will stand up for America and its values. Meanwhile, the Greek Orthodox Archbishop in America parades behind a Black Lives Matter sign.
This is why I maintain legal residence in my wife’s home of Krasnodarski Krai, Russia. The region produces most of Russia’s food, plus much for export. Driving distance to the Black Sea, Crimea, and the Caucasuses. Close to both the main supply chains as well as boundless wilderness. You can easily choose to live city or live simple.
How many black guys are Eastern Orthodox? I’ve never met one.
“How many black guys are Eastern Orthodox?”
How many black guys are there in BLM?
RE: Priest Denies Communion to All Members of Black Lives Matter
How would the Priest know that one is a member of BLM?
In the United States the numbers are small, but there are some. However, Orthodox Christianity is among the fastest growing religions in Africa.
Compare this good priest to Bishop Seitz of El Paso:
Part of this is based on the honor system. But unlike in many other churches, in the OC the parish priest is typically your confessor. As such he will know all of the parishioners to at least some degree. Also, the OC has not embraced the modernist custom of “open communion.” Communion is taken quite seriously. If you are visiting another parish where the priest doesn’t know you and you want to receive communion, it is best to present yourself before the liturgy and ask for the priest’s blessing to do so. Otherwise you risk getting the churchy 3rd degree when you approach the chalice. I have seen, quite frequently, priests grill strangers approaching for communion “are you Orthodox? Have you kept the fasts? When is the last time you went to confession?”
The correct answers are “yes, yes, and within the last week,” unless the church is Russian or Serbian in which case they prefer confession within the preceding 24 hrs.
There’s a Russian Orthodox church in my small Southern city.
Any hint of trouble will find it quickly surrounded by armed Russians.
They are slowly coming in, and some have formed their own group, with allies. http://mosestheblack.org/resources/life/http://mosestheblack.org/resources/life/

Some respectable Orthodox (PC?) have allied with them, but grouping by race is not canonical.
Bp. Seitz serves a different Master.
I seriously doubt he has ever displayed a sign reading “Unborn Lives Matter”.
WOW! Good for them- Now if only priests in America would find a spine
[[How would the Priest know that one is a member of BLM?]]
There are ways to find out- unpleasant, but there are ways- j/k
Though I am Jewish, I fully agree with everything here, and admire the Orthodox Church for having the guts to call out BLM for what it is - godless Communism - and to deny its members communion until they show by their actions that they have repented from that type of an ideology.
FWIW, half of my heritage is in Russia, and I have extensively studied what the Communists did there. Few institutions have a better sense of the evils of Communism than the Russian Orthodox Church, and I am gratified that they have learned their lessons. Now, if they would change their attitude toward Jews a little bit....
DISGUSTING!!!
... members of that satanic organization.
True description. Hopefully they will be denied 1st Amendment rights.
And COURAGE!!!
