The more science understands the absolute complexity of a single cell the more impossible life occurring randomly becomes.
Francis Crick - one of the discovers of DNA realized that it didn’t “just happen”. At one point he figured that it must have been designed. But, not believing in God - he figured it was created by aliens and then shot out into space. (Perhaps a dying planet that wanted to preserve their race?) I think he reigned that idea in after awhile? Maybe not.
A few years(?) ago I recall an article that talked about “shadow DNA”. Something about how the information in a DNA strand contains twice as much code as they thought it did. Or maybe what they thought was “junk DNA” that serves no purpose actually does.
So it is even MORE complex than Crick and others thought.
