Actually ther black church should have been preaching the need fir blacks to forgive whites since the day Lee surrendered.
Like it or not, black Christians have an obligation to forgive slavery and hold today’s whites innocent of slavery.
The sin of slavery is too egregious to forgive? Whites aren’t really sorry?

Maybe this is what is meant by the great falling away. Maybe Billy Graham would be tolling over in his grave right now, if he knew what “Christianity Today,” has become. I believe it has precious little to do with true Christianity. They need to change the name to “Apostasy Today.” That would probably be more in tune with what this clown Timothy Dalrymple actually believes. It sounds more like the social gospel to me.
Muslims oppressed my ancestors. Should today’s Muslims pay me reparations? What about those Americans whose families trace back to the American Revolution, and who lost family members and property because of the British? Should the UK pay reparations to them?
EVERY group of people is historically connected to ancestors who were abused and oppressed. Maybe everyone should pay reparations to everyone..
Both of my parents did not serve in WWII to defend the right of these rioters to destroy lives and property. They also worked very hard and instilled in us the love of God, Family and Country. Just look how far America has gone down the tubes in a mere 244 years. It is totally disgusting. . . America was used mightily by God to spread the Gospel. . .we have dropped the ball. . .missionaries from other nations are ministering to us. I believe we are witnessing a foreshadowing of the end.

Dennis Prager makes the point that “Happiness is a moral virtue.” And that feeling follows action - you will feel happy if you act happy, even if acting happy is the last thing you feel like doing at the time.
