TORONTO, June 2, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) The Toronto Catholic District School Board released a statement Monday acknowledging June as the month devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and also as a month that manifests pride for those in our community who identify as LGBTQ+.
The Ottawa, Algonquin Lakeshore, and Waterloo Catholic school boards also issued statements noting June as "Pride Month", and Thunder Bay was the first Ontario Catholic board to raise the pro-homosexual Pride flag at its schools last year.

It’s interesting that the WuFlu lockdowns have ended just in time for the “gay pride” festivities that pop up around this time of the year.
The statement is not blasphemous, a simple reading of it makes clear they are not condoning homosexual acts and merely restating long-time Catholic Dogma.
As far as changing societal impressions of homosexuality, I would suggest these people should be less concerned with queer teenagers in study hall and more worried about Paedo, predator Clergy they have enabled and protected.
It is horrible that a Catholic would honor and support a behavior that prevents one from entering into the Kingdom of God. I have no kind words for this blasphemy.

In Canada, public schools were traditionally divided into French Catholic, English Catholic, and English Protestant. Prayers and hymns in the Protestant schools after the US banned them in public schools.
I don’t know if there are now purely secular schools, or Muslim schools, or what. But a Canadian Catholic school is probably not a parochial school. When Caesar pays you, you burn the incense.
