The “modern” or Modernist bishops have been looking for anexcuse to end proper communion practice for a long time. It is one of those “Catholic” things the New, Modern Episcopalian clone bishops demand to be eliminated. Modernizing the Church and making it relevant to the times will shrink it Elks Club/Womens Club significance.
