Yet Another Christian Girl In Pakistan Abducted, Forcibly Converted And Forcibly ‘Married’ To Her Muslim Abductor

At the end of April 2020, a 14 year old Christian girl, Myra Shehbaz, was reportedly abducted and forced to marry in Faisalabad, Punjab. According to International Christian Concern, “Myra Shehbaz was abducted by a group of Muslim men led by Muhammad Naqash. Eye witnesses claim that Myra was attacked while she was traveling to her workplace as a domestic worker on Sunday afternoon. Pervez Masih, Younas Masih, and Naeem Masih, the eye witnesses, claimed that Myra’s abductors forced her into a car and that Myra tried to resist. These eye witnesses were unable to help Myra because abductors were armed and fired several shots into the air.” Myra’s mother, Nighat, told International Christian Concern that she feared her daughter would be “raped, forcefully converted toIslam, or even killed.”

Unfortunately, her concerns are not farfetched. According to the Movement for Solidarity and Peace (MSP), a human rights organization in the country, around 1,000 Christian and Hindu women and girls are kidnapped each year, forced to convert and marry Muslim men. The victims are usually between the ages of 12 and 25. Despite these shocking statistics, the number of victims may be even higher as many cases remain unreported, often due to the girls’ families limited financial means.

As recently as March, I wrote about the case of another Christian girl, Huma Younus, 14 years old at the time of her abduction. Huma was allegedly abducted from her parents’ home in Karachi on October 10, 2019, by a man named Abdul Jabbar of Dera Ghazi Khan, Punjab Province. Other known cases from recent years include a Christian girl, Mehwish, who was kidnapped when she was just 14.

Islam is not a cult of peace. There are 68 passages in the koran encouraging the muslim to lie, cheat, steal and even kill the infidel. So kidnapping and forced marriage goes along with the other elements of the koran.

One wonders where all her family and friends were at this time.

SURELY they knew the risks involved. One would have hoped that they protected her in any way they could. Sounds to me like she was thrown to the wolves.

People worry about North Korea, but Pakistan is far more dangerous to the free world as they strongly support, and assist, terrorist groups like Al Qaeda and the Taliban while being nuclear armed. According to an analysis published by the Saban Center for Middle East Policy at the Brookings Institution in 2008, Pakistan was, “with the possible exception of Iran, perhaps the world’s most active sponsor of terrorist groups... aiding these groups that pose a direct threat to the United States. And a lot of it was being done by their military.

Right after WW II, Truman reached out to Pakistan and was able to get their support until the late 70’s under Carter when they had a political change and went rogue. They came back some with Reagan in the 80’s, but we lost them in the 90’s. They further broke with us in the late 2000’s as they felt the US was not doing enough to control the eastern Afghanistan terrorist Maulana Fazlullah and theories because of Obama’s ineptness at foreign diplomacy.

Meantime they started building a nuclear capability in the 70’s feeling it was the only way to protect themselves from India. It now features the Shaheen III solid base fuel missile home grown with Russian technology that can hit Israel and over 150 warheads of different degrees. They can’t take over the world, but they can do a variety of damage to it.
