That’s nice.

But previous to Benedict’s resignation, theology and belief has been that the papacy is indivisible.

The division of the papacy into an office of governance separate from the ontological nature of a “spiritual mandate” of the papacy adhering to the “pope emeritus” is clearly an innovation.

Certainly it is not what Pietro Angelerio had in mind in the 13th century.

What is demeaning to YOU is your incredible ignorance about the Catholic Church.

See if you can READ: The Pope is infallible when speaking about faith and morals. The Immaculate Conception is NOT an issue of faith or morals.
It's an HISTORICAL event. SeeksomeBrains00.

I really don’t know except one thing. When President Trump and Reverend Jeffries are speaking truth from God and our Pope is not...there are bad winds blowing for Rome.

Not ones that are specifically limited to the Pope, but this type of thing is what I'm wondering about: In canon law, delegation is the spiritual jurisdiction or power which a person exercises in virtue of a commission from one having ordinary jurisdiction (see JURISDICTION), with the understanding that such delegate must act in the name of the one delegating. The canons distinguish between delegation ab homine, and delegation a jure. The former is that which comes from a person in the strict sense of the word; while the latter may have its source in a juridical or moral person. Thus, it is through delegation a jure, that is in virtue of jurisdiction granted by the Council of Trent, that bishops have certain powers in regard to exempted regulars. Whenever the common law designates a person as having powers which belong to another by ordinary right, the one upon whom they are conferred is said to be a delegate a jure. If bishops exercise such powers "as delegates of the Apostolic See", an appeal against their actions would have to be made to the pope, for it is really his jurisdiction they are employing; while if the common law refers to them as acting "also as delegates of the Holy See", an appeal could be taken to the metropolitan, as in such a case the bishop acts in virtue of both ordinary and delegated jurisdiction. Historically, the origin of canonical delegation is to be sought most probably in the fifth (in the Latin version, the seventh) canon of the Council of Sardica (A.D. 347), which speaks of judges delegated for Roman appeals. From the fifth century onwards, instances of appointment of delegates by the popes are distinctly recorded, and such delegation became more frequent as time went on, particularly since the pontificate of Gregory I (590-604).: Delegation

Are you like a priest or something because you are either brainwashed or do not hear from the Holy Ghost like you think you do.

“The papacy has never, ever, ever, ever been INDIVISIBLE.”

Which is why Jesus gave the Keys to all the apostles... no, uh,... that’s not quite right.

Which why Jesus told all the apostles to feed my sheep,... er,... maybe that’s not it, either.

Which is why Jesus said, hey all you apostles, upon this Rock, I found my Church,... maybe not.

Which is why Jesus said to all the apostles, Satan has asked to sift all of you as wheat. But I have prayed for you, all you apostles, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.

Uh..., I don’t think that’s right, either.

Are you like a priest or something because you are either brainwashed or do not hear from the Holy Ghost like you think you do.

I have DAILY access to priests...at Mass, after Mass, e-mails for questions, letters.
I have had a lot of questions in my life and they, the many priests, were there to answer my questions.

I am brainwashed in the Lord!

We don't say the Holy GHOST any more. That went away about 60 years ago, early 60's. We say the Holy Spirit.

Answered by Legionary of Christ Father Edward McNamara, professor of liturgy at the Regina Apostolorum university.

https://www.ewtn.com/catholicism/library/holy-ghost-and-holy-spirit-4627Q:
Before the Second Vatican Council, 1962-65, the Third Person of the Trinity was referred to in English as the Holy Ghost. The Sign of the Cross was made in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. When priests delivered sermons they made the Sign of the Cross with these words at the beginning and end of their sermons.
In current practice, the words Holy Spirit seem to have taken precedence, except in churches where the extraordinary rite of the Mass is exclusively celebrated. When the Holy Father (Pope Benedict) celebrates Mass in his native tongue (German), he uses the word Geist (ghost). Heiliger Geist

The ENGLISH translations are now holy SPIRIT...NOT "ghost."
Spirit and ghost are the same word in GERMAN, but not in Englsih.

On 26 February 2013, Father Lombardi stated that the Pope's style and title after resignation are His Holiness Benedict XVI, Roman Pontiff Emeritus, or Pope Emeritus.

And now Bergoglio has relegated the title, Vicar of Christ, to be an "historical title". But I don't see you hollering about that.

Moving 'Vicar of Christ' title in Vatican yearbook is ‘theological barbarism’, says cardinal

So in with new, "Roman Pontiff Emeritus", and out with the old, "Vicar of Christ".

True.

But not if he dies “in office”.

Hey not for nothing... but not just historical- but scientific now as well.....
Look up the term Michrochimerism… or Fetal Micrchimerism you will be surprised- as many believers will come to learn as DBA micro-cellular research reveals.... but there is scientifically proven research that reveals shared cellular bonding through pregnancy- where by cells are transferred between Mother and Child- in both directions.....and remain... Now if some still believe Christ would have been born with a sinful genetic make up - well that's their deal.
While some will always lack the faith to believe the greatness of God, and the necessity and probability of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary "FULL of Grace" - they are blinded with pride pretending to understand the essence of God... which we can never know on earth...

There’s nothing wrong with the term “Holy Ghost”. The word “Ghost” comes from a Germanic root and is cognate to the German “geist”. “Spirit” comes from Latin. They mean the same thing.
